Girls Varsity Indoor Track · Youngsters Dominate at Gloucester Invitational

We had a great weekend at the CNU Winter Frolic and the Gloucester Invitational.

At the Gloucester Invitational we had numerous 8th graders compete on an indoor track for the first time. We had event wins in the girls 4×800 and a 1-3 sweep in the girls 1600 (Cami Sudol, Courtney Mudd, and Riley Surratt).

At the CNU Winter Frolic we had our more experienced group, although still had a lot of younger faces. Josh Larson finished 5th in the 55 hurdles and Jada Foreman finished 5th in the 55 dash, 2nd in the high jump and she won the long jump (both the high and long jump were automatic state qualifiers).

We now have a break in competition until January 5th when we compete at St. Christopher’s.
